  • How is BeeMee different from other productivity apps?

Most apps just track tasks or habits. BeeMee captures the full complexity of your life - the relationships that are both painful and worthwhile, the activities that restore you, the work situations that challenge you. It shows you how all these pieces work together.

  • How is this different from journaling apps?

While journaling apps help you record thoughts and feelings, BeeMee goes beyond documentation to active pattern recognition. It transforms your experiences into actionable insights about how different aspects of your life work together, rather than just storing reflections.

The Whisper is your AI companion - the "voice" of BeeMee that learns your unique patterns and communicates with you like a friend who really gets you. Instead of generic reminders, The Whisper gives you personalized insights based on what it learns about how you thrive.

  • What are Whisps?

Whisps represent your different life roles - like your professional self, parent self, friend self, creative self. BeeMee helps you see how these different parts of you interact and affect each other, rather than treating them as separate, isolated areas.

  • What kind of insights does BeeMee provide?

BeeMee might show you that your most challenging relationship is also where you're growing the most, or that certain combinations of people and activities consistently make you feel alive. It helps you understand the difference between what feels good in the moment versus what's actually meaningful for your growth.

  • Who is BeeMee for?

Anyone juggling multiple roles - professionals, parents, students, caregivers, entrepreneurs. Those in recovery from addiction.  Basically anyone who's ever felt like they're failing at everything when they're actually succeeding in ways they can't see.

  • Does BeeMee replace therapy or professional help?

No, BeeMee is not a replacement for therapy or professional mental health care. It's a tool for gaining perspective and understanding patterns in your daily life. If you're dealing with serious mental health concerns, please seek professional help.

  • How does BeeMee learn about me?

BeeMee learns through your interactions - how you respond to prompts, what activities you engage in, how you describe your experiences, and the patterns that emerge over time. The more you use it, the better your Whisper understands what helps you thrive.

  • Is my data private and secure?

Yes, your personal data is secure. BeeMee is designed with privacy as a core principle. See our legal terms and conditions below.

  • Do I have to input a lot of data to get started?

No! BeeMee starts with a simple questionnaire about your life roles and preferences, then learns organically as you use it. You're not doing the analysis - BeeMee does that for you.

  • Can BeeMee help with work-life balance?

Absolutely. BeeMee specializes in showing you how different areas of your life affect each other. Instead of trying to "balance" everything perfectly, it helps you see when one area struggling doesn't mean everything is falling apart.

  • How much does BeeMee cost?

BeeMee offers a 14 day free trial period to test the Premium tier.  The basic Me+3 version includes 4 Whisps and Premium gives you access to unlimited Whisps for your hive.  Check the app store for your countries pricing. 

  • How do I stay updated on BeeMee's development?

Join our email list or follow us on social media for development updates, behind-the-scenes content, and early access opportunities.

  • Will BeeMee work on my device?

BeeMee is available for iOS and Android platforms.  BeeMee is also available on your desktop computer.

A.L.I.C.E. LLC (”BeeMee”, “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides a localized application designed to support self-reflection and personal growth through the use of modern AI technology. More information is available on our website and the app stores.

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) and the separate Privacy Policy govern our relationship with you, the user, through the BeeMee or other applications. Communications through and use of our website or other platforms are subject to other privacy policies and terms of use. If anything is unclear, please feel free to contact us as provided below. We are happy to provide further explanation.

We’re committed to communicating openly about our practices. This transparency is essential to maintaining strong relationships with our users. Accordingly, we encourage you to review the Terms to familiarize yourself with our practices and request any clarification you feel is needed.

BeeMee is designed to support personal reflection and growth but is not a substitute for professional mental health care, crisis intervention, or emergency services. 1. Use of the Services

By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our Services.

You agree to use the Services only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. We reserve the right to refuse or terminate access to the Services at our sole discretion.

The Services are not a substitute for clinical therapy, emergency services, or professional medical or psychological advice. If you are experiencing a crisis, you should seek immediate help from a licensed provider or emergency services.

 

2. Licenses and Access

When you download or access our applications, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Services. This license may vary depending on your chosen features and subscription models.

You may not:

  • Copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or distribute the Services or any derivative works;

  • Resell or sublicense access to the Services, or otherwise commercialize your license to our Services;

  • Share your account credentials;

  • Use the Services for any unlawful or harmful purpose; or

  • Publicly use, demonstrate, or publicize the Services for any purpose without prior written consent.

 

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features may be available only through subscriptions or one-time purchases. By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Be billed in advance on a recurring basis based on your selected plan.

  • Automatic renewal unless canceled before the end of the current term.

  • Manage your subscription through your device’s app store.

  • No refunds after payment, except where required by law. In-app purchases are governed by Apple’s or Google’s refund policies.

Free trials may be offered and are subject to cancellation before billing to avoid charges. Promotions, if applicable, are subject to separate terms which take precedence in case of conflict.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of your content and information.

5. App Updates and Changes

We may update or discontinue parts of the Services at any time. Your license applies to the current version of the Services. You may choose to update manually or enable automatic updates. Continued use may require the latest version.

 

6. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, content, and materials within the Services are owned by BeeMee. You may not reproduce or use these materials outside of what is permitted under your license.

 

7. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as-is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee specific outcomes or improvements in health, productivity, or well-being. We do not warrant that the Services will be free from interruptions or defects. We do not warrant that the Services are compatible with your device(s), or that data stored on your device(s) will be retrievable under any circumstances.

 

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data or profits. This applies even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

 

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless A.L.I.C.E. LLC, BeeMee,  its affiliates, employees, and licensors from any claims or damages arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

 

10. Health Disclaimer

The Services are not medical devices and do not provide medical advice or diagnosis. They are intended for general wellness and self-reflection purposes only.

 

11. Termination

You may terminate your license at any time by ceasing use and deleting your account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or applicable laws. Terms relating to intellectual property, limitations of liability, and dispute resolution will survive termination.

 

12. Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We may periodically notify you of changes here, in the app store(s) and associated update log(s), by email, or by any other means we deem appropriate. Continued use after changes become effective indicates your acceptance.

 

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Utah. Disputes may be resolved via arbitration or in courts located in any court of competent jurisdiction in Cache County, Utah.

  1. Information We Collect

In general, we only retain personal information as it pertains to your use of our service, such as subscription payment information shared through the app stores and your email address provided as part of registering for an account. We may collect anonymous data such as device type, operating system, and IP address for monitoring and promotion purposes (for example, determining which platforms attract the most users, and identifying geographical trends in our user base).

We may collect the following types of information to provide our services:

  1. Account-level Information. You provide us with limited personally identifiable  information, such as your email address, when you create an account or submit directly to us. Other than your subscription status, we do not receive, use, or control any information provided to the app store(s) related to authorization for subscription services.

  2. Automatically Collected Information. We may also automatically collect certain information about the device you use to access our services, including information about the device, IP address, and browser type. We also collect information about your interactions with our services, such as pages viewed and links clicked.

 

  1. We do not collect session data.

Except for account-level data required to manage our relationship with you, we have concluded that storing data locally on your personal device is the only way that we can provide maximum safety and privacy. We have opted not to use cloud-based storage in BeeMee. Locally-stored data is encrypted and requires your personal login and device to access. Accordingly, the data you provide to BeeMee is yours and yours alone and we do not have access to that data. We do not share, sell, or distribute your session data to any third parties, or retain access internally. We do not advertise in the BeeMee app and do not provide access to users to outside businesses.

  1. Use of Information

We use the information we collect for several purposes aimed at providing and improving our services.

Providing, Maintaining, Improving, and Developing Services: The limited information we do collect is integral to providing our services, such as being able to log into your account and conduct sessions. We may use the information to ensure our services operate as intended. This includes using technical information about your devices and your interactions with our services to resolve issues, ensure compatibility, and keep our services up and running. We may use aggregated and anonymized data to help identify avenues for improvement of existing services. We may use aggregated and anonymized data to help tailor the growth and development of new services for BeeMee or related services. We may use your data to personalize your user experience. Some information is used in the interest of security to protect BeeMee and our users, or enforce our terms and conditions, and to comply with legal requirements.

We maintain strict internal data privacy practices to ensure your information is handled responsibly and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

4. Third-Party Services: Gemini

We may use limited third-party service providers to help us in providing and promoting our services. Currently, we use the Gemini service for tasks required for performing our services, including artificial intelligence operations and written and audio language processing and recognition. Data processed through the Gemini service is anonymized and session-based, without any user-identifying information. Gemini’s “zero data retention” includes a detailed privacy commitment available on its website, which allows limited caching of data for up to 24-hours in accordance with those policies. Users are encouraged to review the Gemini Acceptable Use Policy, Prohibited Use Policy, and Data Governance for additional information.  

Please note that these third-party service providers have their own privacy policies addressing how they use such information, in addition to any agreements that govern our relationship with these providers.

BeeMee strives to minimize data retention whenever possible, and the limitations in our interactions with Gemini for the limited purpose of providing our services reflects that commitment. For example, we do not use grounding with Google Search or session resumption features which require more data retention with those services.

5. Security

Ensuring the security of your data is our utmost priority. To that end, we employ a variety of measures to safeguard your information:

  1. Data Encryption: All data transmitted between you and our services, including any third-party service providers is secured using strong encryption protocols. This includes the use of Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology, which ensures that your data remains private and integral.

  2. Local Access Only: All long-term data for your BeeMee app is stored locally on your device. BeeMee, including its employees and support providers, cannot access your locally-stored data. Additionally, locally-stored data is encrypted and may only be accessed with your personal login credentials, which are also not stored by BeeMee.

  3. Training and Internal Updates: While there is no active interaction with your data, our team is regularly trained and updated on relevant developments in artificial intelligence and other services BeeMee utilizes.

6. User Deletion; No Recovery Option

Users may delete their account and locally stored data. Upon such a request, all associated data will be permanently deleted and BeeMee is unable to restore that data. Users accepts the risk of loss of data by using our services.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time. We may periodically notify you of changes here, in the app store(s) and associated update log(s), by email, or by any other means we deem appropriate.
